After their violent Pogroms against Jews in 1936, Palestinians achieved what they can only dream of; The British Peel Commission offered Palestinians more than 80% of the land with the looming pressure of WWII. The Jews accepted this to state offer even though it was biased against us because we know what the Jews of Europe were suffering and would agree to anything to help create a safe Jewish homeland.

After Palestinians rejected every possible deal they were offered, they declared a war of annihilation and genocide against the Jews living in the land of Israel. With the help of the armies of Syria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and others, they attacked the young state of Israel which had no organized army and an international arms embargo against it. Before the war began wealthy Palestinians begin evacuating the land on their own, understandably because they knew a war was coming. Palestinian nationalists and leaders urged their followers to reject coexistence with the state of Israel, to leave until the war concluded, and hundreds of thousands of Palestinians followed those instructions.

The tragic Nakba and catastrophe of all catastrophes is that more than 6,000 Jews, most of whom were Holocaust survivors, or murdered in this 1948 initiated by Palestinians. East Jerusalem, the Etzion Bloc, and other areas were completely ethnically cleansed of their Jewish population, in many cases Jews that were living there for generations were expelled never to return. Palestinian refugees of war who arrived in the West Bank, Lebanon, Gaza, and Egypt were placed in "refugee camps" in apartheid and segregationist conditions and to this day are treated as second class citizens in those places. All this is done to them in order to perpetuate the "Palestinian refugee problem" used as a weapon against Israel.

While there are BILLIONS of people today who are descendants of those displaced in conflicts that took place and Europe, Asia, and Africa in the 1940s, there is only one group privileged enough for the world to still treat them as refugees 5 and 6 generations later, the Palestinians.
